User talk:Mnettheim
The article you created at Matthew Nettheim is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable, but it may be a good start for your own userpage. I have moved it to User:Mnettheim, which is where you are encouraged to write about yourself. You are free to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.
The purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so you should not consider your user page to be a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing may be removed.
Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information.
Please read WP:AUTO. The recommendation is always: wait until someone else writes a biography about you. -- RHaworth 13:03, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Mmm, well it think it is generally best not to edit your own bio on Wikipedia - you can suggest modifications on the talk page of the article instead. But having said that (since the article is notable and verfiable, in my opinion at least), I have re-established the article, at Matt Nettheim.--Commander Keane 13:42, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Matt Nettheim-small.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Matt Nettheim-small.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
