Commetrex

[edit]

Wikipedia doesn't accept articles indiscriminately and we have a number of rules concerning the subjects that are allowed to have articles. One is that you have to be considered significant enough, and the criteria we use for deciding that can be found here. Another is that pages aren't allowed to promote the subject of the page and our articles can't be used for promoting companies or products. The article about your company I deleted back in 2008 fell foul of both of these rules - it didn't contain any indication of why the company was at all significant (it just said that the company existed and listed some of the services the company provides) and it was written in promotional language.

If your boss has asked you to write a Wikipedia article about your company, then you should know that this is 'very strongly discouraged, and I recommend you read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations before going any further. The page you created is a userspace draft, it isn't a live article. Hut 8.5 20:04, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see you've submitted it to articles for creation, that's a very good idea. Hut 8.5 21:27, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mltroup. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Commetrex Corporation".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Commetrex Corporation}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. —Anne Delong (talk) 18:19, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
