Lehri (tribe)
[edit]Thanks for your note on my talk page. Basically the referencing issue is to do with where the information in the article comes from. This is usually done by using the ref tag. I have made some more edits to the article now, so you can see what I mean. Pahari Sahib 22:16, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- Salaam, thanks for the reply, using the ref tag isn't that bad, just takes some getting used to. Glad I could help :-) Pahari Sahib 13:49, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Lehri tribe, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Sutyarashi, the word ‘ethnic’ has been added to the page unnecessarily by yourself, and is not backed up by any evidence. I would advise you to stop vandalising this page and back your claims up with references please. Your changes to the Lehri page are not constructive. Avoid unnecessary edits in the future.
- Kind Regards
- MLehri Mlehri (talk) 13:46, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- However, in hindsight. Some of the changes you have made read and sound better. How about we come to a compromise and avoid the use of brahvi tribe, as brahvi is a language not a tribe and the word ethnic really not necessary.
- Regards, Mlehri (talk) 20:42, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
brahvi is a language not a tribe and the word ethnic really not necessary
- That's backed up by nothing, the sources cited in the previous version of the article and Brahuis contradict it. Due to lack of time, I will not engage in discussion over this now, but will restore previous better without adding "ethnic Brahui" in the lede. Sutyarashi (talk) 13:14, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- If you still disagree with any added content, you can remove it instead of alright reversion. We can discuss it later. Sutyarashi (talk) 13:18, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the time to modify the page. I like it, it reads better. The tribe indeed does belong to the Sarawan tribes. When I last read the two books, there was Sarawan and Jhalawan and the Lehris were indeed from the Sarawani tribes.
- But the tribe does emerge from the Rind and the Dombki Tribes, the details of that are in the references I have quoted when I edited this page 16 years ago. So that we both can’t deny.
- Thank you :-). Mlehri (talk) 18:08, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
