"undid the move because it was not discussed first"
[edit]Dear Mk4711,
This is not a requirement in the English speaking wikipedia. Perhaps, in the meantime, you'd like to read the Be bold policy to get a better idea, until the RfC is sorted here. Yours, Mootros (talk) 12:53, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- First time you changed the name it was bold, second time it was something else. You even didn't react to the other user's comment when he restored the original entry name. Wikipedia is a project where many people work together. I think you got my point. --Mk4711 (talk) 14:15, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- I have no idea what you're talking about? Please show me where I did something again, apart from this bold move: Mootros (talk) 13:03, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- I thought that Ltwin undid your move and you renamed the article again. But I can't find that in the history list so I guess you are right. Sorry for that. Probably I overreact because I feel my Lutheran identity threatened by you. I guess you are British. --Mk4711 (talk) 19:08, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:EKD
[edit]Sorry, I don't remember making any edits to "EKD". Could you provide a link, or specify the exact edit? Thanks. -Reconsider! 01:08, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
EKD stuff
[edit]If Motroos is reverting your moves, it's probably wise not to continue with them. Since nobody's really interested in listening to each other, and there's not any obvious compromise position, I doubt this can be worked out by consensus - it'll probably take a vote of some sort to demonstrate consensus for the English names (which I think could be done pretty easily). john k (talk) 16:51, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Now another user has taken the initiative, at least for the EKD. --Mk4711 (talk) 16:53, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I have not intention to move it back to the German name. The discussion has given some indication about peoples perception of the issues. I think we should manifest this with an RM to give credibility to the outcome, whatever it will be. Mootros (talk) 20:38, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I have no problem ignoring "Landes" in those church names by the way. --Mk4711 (talk) 21:35, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
