Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Mjwatcho, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

  • You can find answers to many student questions on our Q&A site, ask.wikiedu.org

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:52, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ian. Thank you. You can call me Mike. I have been through the modules and am working towards editing an article. Mjwatcho (talk) 21:08, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The draft you started as a talk page of a not-yet-created article had been tagged for deletion. Because I thought you meant it to be a draft for development, I moved it to your userspace. You can now find it at User:Mjwatcho/Wetland Restoration. LadyofShalott 01:05, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I am intending to create a page guided by Wiki Edu and was instructed to start by outlining my intentions on the talk page even if the page had not yet been created. Mjwatcho (talk) 01:10, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing

[edit]

If several consecutive sentences are supported by the same source, you can just include the citation once after the group of sentences. But make sure that you include the reference at least once per paragraph. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:20, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
