1. Are you here to leave a D/S notice?
If it's even remotely related to politics, science or conspiracy theories, I'm already aware, and will consider you leaving one to be evidence of either incompetence or harassment.
2. Are you here to lecture me about my bad behavior?
Stop. Don't hit submit, just go away and consider yourself asked firmly to never comment here again. If I really had been as badly behaved as you think, ANI is the proper venue for your complaint. If you don't think it warrants an ANI thread, then see the next question.
2a. Are you here to politely point out some bad behavior I may have engaged in, or something I did that may be interpreted as such?
By all means, continue. I may disagree, or I may agree, but I can certainly make time for anyone genuinely making an effort to help me. Note that if you transition to berating me because I disagreed with you, point 2 applies.
3. Have I asked you not to comment on my talk page?
If what you want to say is polite* and off the topic of whatever led me to ask you not to comment here, conciliatory, the result of some sudden insight on your part that renders our disagreement moot, a required notice (not including most D/S notices) such as a noticeboard discussion notice or just shooting the shit in a friendly way, then by all means continue. Otherwise, stop and do not continue.
4. Have you ever added a song to the section titled Music at the top of my talk page?
If so, consider doing so again!
If not, I view you with suspicion and mistrust, and you should bear in mind that this will continue until you add something.

4a. Have you browsed the selection of music and picked one or more to listen to as you edit?
What the hell is wrong with you?! Music is good for the soul, goddamnit.
5. Would you like me to comment on some discussion?
As long as it's not on a politics page, coolcoolcool. I'll comment on focused discussion about NPOV, sourcing, BLP issues or fringe theories at the noticeboards, even if it's for a politics page. But I don't want to go to any politics pages to weigh in on an RfC or other discussion.
6. Do you have some request for a write-up, graphics work (including making new images) or help creating/fixing some template or userbox or something similar?
OooOOooooOoOoO Me Likely New Challenges.
7. Are you here to shoot the shit?
Welcome! Grab a beer and get comfy. There's music and stalkers and... Well... Me.... But there's music!
8. Are you Mikemikev, here to make death threats or overwrought proclamations about how I'm a charlatan?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Go right ahead, dude. Do me a favor, though, and please call me an "ethnomarxist"? It's your catch phrase, and it's like the one thing you've never called me.
*Note that my standards for politeness are pretty low. Curse words don't bother me. Mild or childish insults used in a hyperbolic manner don't bother me (I usually interpret them as playfulness). Nominal rudeness that's funny in context doesn't bother me. Mild rudeness doesn't bother me, funny or not. Basically the things I consider "impolite" are arrogance, demanding conduct and condescension.
