Episodes and summaries

[edit]

I've found that you are the person who has been working on Episode summaries and pages for each episode for Yu-Gi-Oh! and many other cartoons and anime. However, I would like to let you know that you should use {{Infobox television episode}} and {{Episode list}} in creating the tables. {{digimon episode}} is out of date and {{episode list}} is more general and updated for the episode summaries, and more details can be inserted. I know you've done alot of work on all these pages but I'm afraid that they all have to be changed to the correct standards. - Zero1328 Talk? 08:58, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You don't need to change all the stuff you've done already to {{Episode list}}, since It will probably be done by an automated bot later on. But try to use them from now on to lessen the load of the bot, ok? - Zero1328 Talk? 11:57, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, when you want to link to the article about something Persian, please do not link to Persian, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as Persian people, Persian (Pokémon), or Iran, by writing out [[Persian (Pokémon)|Persian]]. I give you my permission to revert all the images that yugigx60 changed. But be sure to re-upload them and add them to the seperate episode page so it won't get him mad. (Bobabobabo 02:08, 24 September 2006 (UTC))[reply]

IMPORTANT

[edit]
Hey, well all of the images on the episode lists aren't going to be there anymore, so may you go to all of the images and give them Fair Use Rationale, so that we can keep the images.

This user called User:Ryulong is giving me a headache. They claim that this Pokémon Collaborative Project (WT:PCP) has voted not to keep the images which I did the edit - Find on this page: Images and their is nothing about changing the pokepisode template. Their is mergering the episodes. But why does one person has the say (A Man In Bl♟ck) to keep or not to keep the images????

And User:Ryulong is claiming that it is fandom?? No its not the images are:

  • Screenshots help identify episodes visually and identify key moments. Identifiying episodes and distingushing between them are key reasons for having List of episodes type articles.
  • Screenshots of television shows which are released for promotional purposes are more likely to be fair use, especially low-resolution screenshots.
  • Many lists, including featured lists, currently use fair use images.
  • Most if not all images comply with the current fair use criteria, are tagged with relevant templates (such as {{DVDcover}} or {{tv-screenshot}}) and provide a rationale on their description page.

See the first one Screenshots help identify episodes visually and identify key moments, so people can identidy the episode.

But recently the episode(s) articles are being considered for deletion in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. Please place a vote at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Here Comes the Squirtle Squad. Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of Dan Brown books and films, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:List of Dan Brown books and films. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair use rationale for Image:Aqua logo.png

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Aqua logo.png. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. May the Force be with you! Shreshth91 07:06, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:HouzanGokaido.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HouzanGokaido.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:43, 23 March 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 12:43, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Awakening of Evil (3), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Yu-Gi-Oh! GX episodes, by TTN, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Yu-Gi-Oh! GX episodes has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Yu-Gi-Oh! GX episodes, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Category:Yu-Gi-Oh! GX episodes itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:29, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:EmperorGruumm.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:EmperorGruumm.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:47, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
