Mistle

[edit]

I see that you have moved your userpage from User:Mistle to Mistle. However, User: is a necessary part of your name. If you remove that, you move your article to the normal article space, and normal articles need to show the notability of the subject. User pages don't have to. What you have written about yourself is very good for a userpage, but it doesn't belong in an encyclopedia, because wikipedia is not a personal homepage. I hope you understand this. If you don't, please read Wikipedia:User page. If you have any questions, you can always contact me. Aecis Mr. Mojo risin' 01:57, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I understand ;)

Please confirm that the edits made by this user are actually yourself when logged out? I removed the changes they made thinking they were vandalism as your user page had been vadalised. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:12, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It would be a better idea if you were to log in before making changes as your user page seems to have several people making edits and it's hard to tell which are vandals and which are not. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:22, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK. No problem. Have fun. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:29, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Userboxes

[edit]

I would try here Wikipedia:Userboxes. It gives links to lots of userboxes and also explains how to make your own. You might also want to go to Wikipedia:User page and it will explain how to make a user subpage or sandbox that you can try out your userboxes in. One last thing when you leave a comment on a talk page use ~~~~ and it will leave your signature and time stamp, which makes it easier to know who is leaving messages. Cheers. Your page people who know Mistle

[edit]

Please do not create personal article in the wikipedia main articles space, you can create subpages beneath your own user page. As such I have move People who know Mistle to User:Mistle/People who know Mistle and updated your userpage to link there instead. Thanks --pgk(talk) 10:53, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

For external links use only one [ or ]. As in Official Green Day Website. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 14:08, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I have reverted vandalism on your user page. (see user page history) If the same IP vandalises your page again, use {{subst:test4-n|User:Mistle}} ~~~~ on the IP's talk page. Thanks. haz (user talk) 21:24, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:Mistle

[edit]

User:Mistle, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Mistle and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Mistle during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.
