Comment at the Grayson page

"I foresee somewhere down the line a completely new picture inserted into the page header, and a renewed discussion developing along similar lines."

I concur, it does seem like a lot of energy is expended on a subject which really isn't as consequential as it appears. Including, sadly, my own a few weeks back. Good advice. Netkinetic(t/c/@) 05:23, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Umm, thanks!?! Sorry just shocked. This place makes you jaded sometimes, so appreciation seems foreign here lol. I enjoy your contributions as well. Regards. Netkinetic(t/c/@) 02:18, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. (Emperor 21:16, 30 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Hi Fax, what I said about the pre-industrial society concept is perfectly valid. For example, a research programme caried out under the auspices of the IISH makes all this pretty clear. User:Jurriaan 1 May 2007

If it is valid then it needs a source to authenticate it as such. Please consider WP:NOR. Thanks. Mister Fax 20:35, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 52 fallout...

Just finished a swing through the articles based on the 3 pages in 52 52 if you want to look at what was moved and tweaked. - J Greb 21:33, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Malaysia project

[edit]

I have nothing against the idea of such a project, although I have to say that I find the existing content to be perhaps a bit less than impressive. Have you thought about maybe listing the project as a proposal at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals page? There you might be able to get a bit better of a feel as to whether there are enough editors who would be interested in this project to justify the creation of all the templates, subpages, etc. which tend to come with the creation of a project, and probably be able to get a better formal "start" to the project. Anyway, just an opinion. Good luck with it in any event. :) John Carter 19:38, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
