Futurama

[edit]

Regarding the Adult Swim bump about Futurama. Is it actually a confirmation or just conveying the information that Billy West posted to his message board? Do you remember any of the wording? And what exactly is a bump? Qutezuce 23:11, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You really should not go gutting articles the way you did, you should have used the "Move" option, thus keeping the history of the article and thus all it's credits. I'm reverting that and redirecting the set of articles into the original. 65.95.124.5 08:12, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't know about the Move option then. I have since split the article up by keeping most sections in the existing article and moving others to a new Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (1st GiG) page.
  • Wow, I never knew that Lilith was featured in EVA!... except for the last 25253252 times it was put in and deleted as non-notable. If information that seems fairly obvious to you is not on the page, there's probably a reason for that. And that reason can be found in the talk page. So, uh, yeah. Danny Lilithborne 07:27, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I guess it's my fault for taking for granted that talk pages remain unchanged. There was a rather large discussion about EVA that is gone from the talk page, and is condensed to a section way down the page where one of the main editors speaks of "four main references" and says that others (Eva, DarkStalkers) should go to the disambig page. Sorry for flying off the handle, but my point still stands. Danny Lilithborne 08:48, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are a few other anime lists I am working on... care to work on thse too?

--Cat out 15:50, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd love to help, but unfortunately I've never seen any of those other shows :-( Sorry. Mistamagic28 21:12, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can always get and watch then ^_^'. Alternatively you can expand fma summaries.
I also intend to break FMA characters appart.
--Cat out 21:14, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good idea. I myself have been working on Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and related pages such as List of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex episodes for a while. Mistamagic28 16:31, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Btw I was wondering what you though about the FMA OVA that has been out this year. I think it should be on the list but I cant seem to locate the release date of the dvd. --Cat out 23:36, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it posible for you to reupload the dvd images in png format overwriting the ones I uploaded? --Cat out 17:18, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You mean wou want me to reupload the same images in png format, or do you want me to revert back to the images you uploaded? Mistamagic28 17:30, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Reupload the english images in png format with filenames identical to my images and then revert. That way we will be using your images and my filenames ^_^. --Cat out 17:53, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I could, but you'd have to have your images deleted first. (I suppose requesting a speedy delete would suffice.) Mistamagic28 17:57, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You can overwrite... and then edit page descriptions... Why bother getting them deleted? lets not bother admins... speedy delete can take hours... --Cat out 18:07, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am interested in converting this page to List of Fullmetal Alchemist episodes format. What do you think? --Cat out 18:14, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that would be a wise idea. I have been working on that page for quite a while and was thinking of splitting it up. I could do it, but you're welcome to if you want to put in the time yourself. Either way, I'd like to help (perhaps with the short episode descriptions like I did with FMA), or doing some of the pages myself (maybe we could split it in half, you do one season and I'll do the other). Let me know what you think. Mistamagic28 19:39, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
We can toss all seasons into one article. See List of Oh My Goddess episodes.
However I need kanji names of the episodes as well as original airdates. I can get the dvd covers from amazon :)
--Cat out 20:27, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The FLC failed per maru's comments. So care to clean up the article a bit more? --Cat out 21:49, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification request

[edit]

Good afternoon, Mistamagic28. I noticed that Image:Al-ep51.png is sourced as an edited screen capture, but you do not specify where you got the original screen capture. I would rather not tag the screenshot as unsourced, since source information has been provided, so I was wondering if you could insert the location of the original screen capture. Thanks in advance. Fair use rationale for Image:Gits_sac_poster_v.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Gits_sac_poster_v.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 12:11, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Al-ep51.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Al-ep51.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 17:54, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Al-ep51.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Al-ep51.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I am conducting a review of this article as part of the GA Sweeps process. I have delisted the article. There are several concerns which have been left at Talk:The Man with the Golden Gun (novel)/GA1, which need to be addressed if the article is to regain GA status. Thanks.
