I don't doubt that you are right concerning the name, and that your move is a good one, but would you please provide some sources for verification purposes (cf WP:V for more about the importance of verifiability). Sources to justify redirect from William of Paris to William of Æbelholt

I have listed some recent articles on William at the foot of the entry. To be honest, in more than a decade of work on William, I have never seen him referred to as William of Paris. I suspect this was a peculiarity of the original Catholic Encyclopedia article. I have not cited any Danish language references, but I would note that the on-line Bibliography of Danish Literary History (Dansk Litteraturhistorisk Bibliografi: http://www.dlb.dansklf.dk/) refers to William (or Vilhelm, the Danish version of William) "af Æbelholt".
