Hello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Happy New Year (2014 film) with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 19:56, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Is there a particular reason why you keep ignoring [1] the messages in the article that state "This article's plot summary may be too long or excessively detailed. Please help improve it by removing unnecessary details and making it more concise." and "Wikipedia provides a plot SUMMARY not every detail. This summary exceeds the recommended MAXIMUM LENGTH, any additional details added without condensing or removing less important will be subject to IMMEDIATE REMOVAL." when you keep inserting additional plot details without removing stuff that would be less important? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 17:03, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- You didnt really answer my question about why, when there are several notes indicating the plot summary is already too long , you decided to add even more plot details. Did you not notice the notes? Was there something confusing so that you did not understand them? Did you think they applied to other people and not you? Were you unable to find anything that you thought was less important and so you decided to let others care of that? Understanding the cause behind the actions will help establish what methods are most effective in keeping Wikipedia from turning into a set of fanpages.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:14, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- I am sorry that you perceived the questions as "rude" - but it was an honest inquiry: what about the notes was ineffectual in impacting your decision to add more content? how can we prevent others from making the same potentially well intentioned mistakes that you made?-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:53, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- so if you were not ignoring the note, did you not see it or did you not understand it? Do we need to make the notes bigger or jump out more or do we need to be more clear about what they mean? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:11, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you. That will help in knowing that we need to make the instructions more visible/obvious. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:31, 28 November 2014 (UTC)

As a method to really help, rather than just adding plot, you could help search through news papers and other reliably published sources to provide content from third parties about the show. See WP:WAF for more details.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:31, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- with [2] this edit it is clear that you simply did not "did not see" the message indicating that a source was needed. Can you explain why you removed the message stating "-Do not add without providing a reliably published source" and added information without providing a source of any kind? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 03:51, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
We don't write our articles based on things that "are going to happen in the future" - we are neither predictors of the future nor a promotional platform to disseminate hype - we are here to collect what reliably published sources have stated about the subject. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:24, 7 December 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Indian Television Academy Awards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ayub Khan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Non-free rationale for File:Beintehaa.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Beintehaa.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:09, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
