Recent edit to Australia Day
[edit]Hello, I'm Quenhitran. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Done. You may learn to add citations yourself in the future ALittleQuenhi (talk to me) 11:01, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
Unacceptable prose
[edit]"This is often considered by the Australian government..." is poor English. You made a bold edit. I reverted, and asked you to discuss. You reverted again. That's a breach of WP:BRD, poor manners, and WP:EDITWARRING. It's unacceptable behaviour. I have no idea what point you are trying to make.
Please go to the article's Talk page and explain the language you are using. HiLo48 (talk) 11:45, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- Ignoring polite requests to discuss is unacceptable behaviour. HiLo48 (talk) 11:55, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
Edit war warning for changes made to Australia article.
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.--Dmol (talk) 12:48, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
