File copyright problem with File:GatesheadBoundaries.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:GatesheadBoundaries.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. DrFrench (talk) 23:41, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

January 2011
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Department for International Development, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Of note neither the Daily Mail or the Daily Express is an acceptable source. -- Eraserhead1 <talk> 23:24, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Copyright and plagiarism
[edit]Hi. I reverted this edit that you made to Immigration to the United Kingdom since 1922 because it introduced text copied word-for-word from this source, without it being clear that it was a direct quote. This constitutes plagiarism and arguably a copyright violation as well. In future, please make sure that you either place material copied directly within quote marks, or paraphrase it to avoid plagiarism. Cordless Larry (talk) 22:21, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
