Hello, I'm Wtmitchell. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Anga, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 12:52, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Adding to what Wtmitchell says: please go through WP:TUTORIAL if you haven't already. Some of the content you are adding is not properly formatted. Also, in some cases, even when you have cited a source, the content you are adding isn't actually supported by the source. For example, here you cited D. C. Sircar's book as a source, but that book doesn't mention Jagatsinghpur etc. utcursch | talk 15:29, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not copy-paste content from shodhganga.inflibnet.ac.in PDFs. Once again, have a look at WP:TUTORIAL -- it will teach you how to format text and cite sources on Wikipedia. utcursch | talk 15:48, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please don't use outdated sources such as an 1832 publication. Similarly, colonial gazetteers are not great sources. Have a look at WP:RS and WP:HISTRS. utcursch | talk 16:18, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:02, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
