This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Eulogio Balao, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.senate.gov.ph/senators/former_senators/eulogio_balao.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:57, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Copyright problem: Eulogio Balao
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Eulogio Balao, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.senate.gov.ph/senators/former_senators/eulogio_balao.htm, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Eulogio Balao and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or that the material is released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Eulogio Balao with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Eulogio Balao.
It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at Talk:Eulogio Balao/Temp. Leave a note at Talk:Eulogio Balao saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:44, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- In addition to the required "form letter" above, I just wanted to thank you for your effort to address the copyright concerns in this article. Unfortunately, since material from the government of the Philippines is retained under copyright, we can't use any material taken directly from that site and must also be careful that revisions do not follow so closely as to form a derivative work. If you wish to address these concerns, please write a new article in your own words at the temporary page as directed above, which we can then put in its place. Otherwise, material copied from the source will need to be removed. Thank you, and please let me know at my talk page if I can be of any help with this process. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:44, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Image source problem with Image:Diosdado_Talamayan.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Diosdado_Talamayan.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:01, 28 December 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Bluemask (talk) 12:01, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Image tagging for File:Diosdado Talamayan.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Diosdado Talamayan.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

more information on Butun Bridge
[edit]I want to expand my article about nl:Buntun Bridge (on the Dutch Wikipedia). I see that you uploaded the beautiful photo of the Bridge and work at the local government. Would it be possible for you to sent me some information on the bridge? For example when it was build, how much it has cost, it's capacity, dimensions, by who it was build etc etc. You can use the option "email this user" on the left on User:Magalhães, or place it on My User Talk Page. Thanks very much!! Magalhães (talk)
Your submission at Articles for creation

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Chicha-rabao Packages.jpg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work contained within this image, you will need to specify
- the creator of the original work
- the copyright status of the original work, usually indicated by adding a licensing tag. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:28, 3 September 2012 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 19:28, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lighthouse Cooperative, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Isabela (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:54, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

The file File:Mikhail de Rivera.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused personal photo. Out of scope.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 05:31, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
