Addition of fair use logos to the Melbourne Victory page
[edit]Could I please ask you to stop adding logos - such an inclusion is not justified under Wikipedia's fair use policy on images, and is also possibly a breach of United States copyright law. Please do not readd them, thanks. Cheers, Daniel Bryant 11:19, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Fair Use images on User page
[edit]Under Wikipedia policy, fair use images are not allowed on user pages. Image:Borussia Dortmund.png and Image:Girondins bordeaux.png have been removed from your user page. ~ BigrTex 17:18, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
A-League 2006–07
[edit]Hi, I see that you're working your way through updating the last ten or so rounds on A-League 2006–07 to the new format, and that's good to see. Instead of editing each section and ultimitely making a whole lot of edits, I suggest using the {{inuse}} template to avoid any conflicts and edit it all together. --timsdad (talk) 11:23, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
- Good on you. Good luck, it'll take a while! --timsdad (talk) 11:44, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Pissant
[edit]Mikhael, I would LOVE to have an Adelaide Pissant jersey, or sweatshirt, or whatever they are. If you can steer me toward where they might be found, I'll follow up and try to buy one. I am fond of all things Aussie, though some unintelligent Yanks regard it as a pissant little continent, I'm sure. ;-)
Additionally, as the principal author of the Pissant article in Wikipedia, I would take special pride in wearing an article of "pissant" clothing. And I would go to great lengths to find and buy it. Lou Sander (talk) 05:40, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (File:JacksonJacksonLogo.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:JacksonJacksonLogo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 03:59, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
