Mangio troppa cioccolata moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Mangio troppa cioccolata, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I am simply translating the Italian page into English. Why all of a sudden is my page being deleted? Why not chase the Italian version of the page? I give up on Wikipedia if my work gets removed. Honestly, why bother? Mikeyq6 (talk) 06:44, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Mikey, the different language versions of Wikipedia do not have the same rules as each other... on the Italian Wikipedia it may be acceptable to have an article with no sources, but on the English Wikipedia we are much more strict about the need for every article to have reliable independent sources that meet WP:RS. So for this article to exist on the English Wikipedia, you will need to find sources that talk about the making of the album, or reviews from newspapers or music magazines... the singer's own social media and blog posts are not acceptable as independent sources. Since the Italian Wikipedia is a completely different site, editors here will not chase up the version there... that's for editors on the Italian Wikipedia to deal with. Giorgia albums
[edit]Hi – I just wanted to make sure you realised that you can't use Hitparadeitalia as a source for chart positions, because they aren't real chart positions... they have been created by the owner of that website. It is listed at WP:BADCHARTS as a website to avoid. I've removed the mentions of this website from the album pages for Giorgia, but it means that Girasole is now unsourced – you will have to find some sources soon in order to keep the article, otherwise it might be deleted.
Also, you can't give your own personal descriptions of a record be cause this is called original research, so you can't say "The album was fresh and catchy, despite being experimental in its production"... you need to find descriptions by music critics (not blogs) of the album. Thank you. Richard3120 (talk) 21:11, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
