ATHF Images
[edit]Be careful, User:Anetode will just take three of those four images down. I took his down and left none due to a conflict of interest. He says TV images are fair-use, I say they are free, since they are taken from the free airwaves. Just letting ya know. Stay warm....SVRTVDude 03:32, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

- Interesting, I see the points being made. I wanted to include pictures from the new services, but it does seem they are free, and can only be used in a fair-use sense. The point of the images was to give readers an idea of what these signs looked like, and the availability of a free alternative is acceptable to me.Mike wiki 16:55, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Invitation to WikiProject External Links
[edit]Hello Mike wiki, thank you for pointing at the broken external link at Fermat's last theorem. Do you often check links? I thought you might want to become a member of WikiProject External links. The project has been quite inactive recently, which is a pitty. Your contributions would be appreciated a lot. Hope you can participate! — Ocolon 17:01, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Internet Map
[edit]Hi Mike,
I am in awe of the map you prepared of the internet. I would like to include it in a book I am doing called "Inventions That Changed The World." May I? If so, how can I attribute it to you?
Please contact me at quinn DOT jim AT gmail

Hi there,
The map of the internet from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Internet_map_1024.jpg was actually created by User:Matt_Britt from data through www.opte.org . Check the file summary for more information, and register with Wikipedia so people can help with questions on a talk page for you like this one =)
Oh and I think the images are licensed according to the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License, so check http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/ for more details.
