New Mexico counties

Curious, what was up with Doña Ana County and De Baca County? I'm confused about what happened. Nyttend (talk) 17:00, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Just fixing some old, old, OLD cut-and-paste moves, nothing more. I have a bot that finds cut-and-paste moves, I'm just working through the list that it generated. Mikaey, Devil's advocate 23:47, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Removed Priority

What is the purpose of Listas bot doing edits like this? Has priority been deprecated? I think the empty tag makes it easy for marking. Sillyfolkboy (talk) (edits)Join WikiProject Athletics! 22:24, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Yep, it sure has. If you look at the documentation for Template:WPBiography, |priority= is no longer on the list. It looks like they moved away from an "overall" priority and instead moved towards individualized priorities for the different task forces underneath them. They even set up Category:Biography articles needing priority parameter replacement to list pages that need their |priority= parameters replaced with something else. Because this is a fairly recent change, the bot is leaving instances of |priority= where there is actually a value set. It's just taking out the empty ones. Was just about to ask the same, so thanx for pointing that out. Is it worthwhile getting the bot to replace the blanks priotitys with either a blank priority-whatever-subprojects, or a comment about that change, so that people notice that change? Misarxist (talk) 09:49, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I don't know that the bot can automatically figure out what task force(s) the article belongs to...so on that point, I'd have to say "no". As for leaving a comment about the change...I'd have to look into that. I'll leave something on the bot's user page letting people know why that change is being made.
