Hi. Just thought you'd like to know that there has been and is rather extensive discussion regarding the use of names of the country "Republic of Macedonia". As a result of that discussion, there is a specific ruling which can be found here that you can only revert content that you have added which was subsequently removed once. Doing so more than once will, in any situation, result in the person doing so being blocked for a week. On this basis, I would very strongly recommend that you not restore the name "Former Yugoslavic Republic of Macedonia" to the beginning of the Greece article. Thank you for your attention, and have a nice day. John Carter (talk) 21:19, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would like to ask you to unblock me from editing on wikipedia. I don't understand why the change of the term Republic of Macedonia that appears on the page of Greece is considered vandalism. I have changed it to the official name of the country as it is recognised by the United Nations. This is not an attempt to push a particular point of view. It is the official name of the country as it is recognised by the UN via the Security Council (Resolution 817) of 1993 and many international organisations including the EU, NATO, OECD

Decline reason:

Unblock request did not address block reason. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:37, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
