The article WCHU-LD has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Subject does not meet the GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Let'srun (talk) 19:47, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Let'srun. It has come to my attention that I stumbled across your PROD on WCHU-LD and found out that you have randomly PROD'd the other LPTV station articles for the proposed deletion as of around mid-January 2024. I think that I do agree that improvements to the article is needed, but I am requesting that I needed more time to gather sources and make improvements to the WCHU-LD article, since I'm busy offline, and now that because of your PROD, I've been racing against time to try to gather sources in an attempt to improve the article as of January 17, 2024. If the article in question ends up being deleted, we could lose all basic information including the station's first air date, ERP, channel and subchannel information, etc. and other details. I am also would like to ask that a solution to this issue should be considered, like a merge to another article for the Chicago low power TV stations, or another solution, if you agree with. If you agree with my proposed plans to improve the article in question, would you like to be open to agreement with the removal of the PROD and opening up a merge request or an AfD for WCHU-LD and the other articles, if this is appropriate as a solution, a remedy to this current issue.
