Hi! If you're going to write about movies...can you add a bit more than just a cast list? A plot synopsis would be nice. :) - Lucky 6.9 01:23, 24 November 2005 (UTC)
Sources for Kevin S. Tenney
[edit]Hello, good work on Kevin S. Tenney, and thanks for the contribution. However, you forgot to add any references to the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. What websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Kevin S. Tenney? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? Thank you very much. - SimonP 05:45, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
Can you also provide some sources for Barbara Cupisti? Thanks! BRIAN0918 03:16, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Welcome!
[edit]If you are interested in Russia-related themes, you may want to check out the Russian Portal, particularly the Portal:Russia/New article announcements and Portal:Russia/Russia-related Wikipedia notice board. You may even want to add these boards to your watchlist.

Chad bingham, jr.
[edit]A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Chad bingham, jr., suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Island (Laymon novel), by Stormbay (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Island (Laymon novel) fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Island (Laymon novel), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 02:06, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. -- Blake01 17:33, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Source for writing credit on The Godfather
[edit]I don't know if Robert Towne was an uncredited writer for The Godfather or not -- if he was, if would be good to have it in the article -- but since it's an unsual piece of information which has never been mentioned before, you're going to need a reference to back it up, some authoritative source to cite which says that Towne was involved. Continuing to add the information without the citation isn't going to help, because it's going to continue to be deleted without some sort of backing. Get a cite, and you're in! - I found a citation in a reliable source (the New York Times), so I restored the information, with the cite. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) (talk / cont) 18:22, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Flagging Tony Maylam for further review
[edit]Hello, Midnight man … I recently encountered the article about Tony Maylam and in my opinion, it either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the Notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it violates a copyright.
I am considering tagging Tony Maylam (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) for deletion according to the Deletion policy … I do not have time to examine the article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.
I have created this initial entry on your Talk page because you are either the original author of the article, or else a recent contributor to it; I will leave more detailed information regarding my specific concerns about the article on its Discussion page … please respond either there or on this Talk page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.
Be sure to read Ownership of articles, and remember that other editors may not share your opinion about the notability of the article's subject.
I do not mean to imply that your contribution is unappreciated … perhaps you should read Your first article … and remember, there was a time when I knew less about how Wikipedia works than you know right now. — Triwbe (talk) 08:35, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Tony Maylam
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Tony Maylam, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- 6 months and no refs supplied. Fails WP:V.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Midnight man! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 12 of the articles that you created are Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 70 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

The article Off Season (novel) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced. Fails to meet criteria at WP:NBOOK
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:15, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Reflections of Murder, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Les Diaboliques and House of Secrets (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
