Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2019–20 Formula E season. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Corvus tristis (talk) 06:41, 20 November 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of motor racing tracks, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Guaporé and Paraná (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 13:01, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! 1982 Formula One World Championship

Hey! I had to revert your edits. The different template has been applied specifically because it can be read by screen readers, making the article accessible to blind readers. This was a prerequisite to the article becoming Featured. Zwerg Nase (talk) 18:51, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

July 2022

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Rschen7754 18:25, 14 July 2022 (UTC)

Comparison of European road signs

Please stop making changes to this article that are not representative of the facts.

  • In the UK, priority signs must be used in combination with their supplementary plate, as seen here. They are a pair and the supplementary plate is not optional.
  • Germany and Slovakia use the same warning sign for both guarded and unguarded railway crossings. Leaving the guarded crossing section blank is not accurate because it implies that they only have a sign for unguarded crossings and guarded crossings are left unsigned.

Comments such as "I don't want that" are not valid and will also be reverted. Fry1989 eh? 16:37, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

I will continue to revert your changes until you provide a valid reason and your changes are supported by the facts. If you continue to make these changes without proper reasoning, you will be reported for vandalism. Fry1989 eh? 14:47, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
I will ask you one last time to cease your revisions. As I explained in my past edit summaries, the text was de-bolded to make the tables more compact. The page is extremely large as it is. The line breaks you keep removing are also there for a reason; so that various images line up correctly. If you will look carefully, you will notice that without the line breaks the flag of the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom do not line up with the rest. Some Swiss signs similarly need the line break to line them up with the others because of the notations insisted upon by ZH8000. The regulations in the United Kingdom for signing vehicle length restrictions also requires both the Imperial and Metric signs to be used together. It is not option to choose one or the other. Please discuss changes on the talk page if you are unsure. If you continue to revert, it will be considered an edit war, and neither of us want that. Fry1989 eh? 01:08, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Will you please not make something have two meanings. The greyed out sections are for when a country does not use a sign at all, such as the priority road signs which Ireland does not have. That isn't the same as a country using a sign but us lacking the image. The restricted parking zone is an example, Denmark uses the sign, we have the end of zone sign but currently lack the entry sign to the zone. File:No image available.svg was pre-existing on Commons, but if you think there's a better one, such as File:Oxygen480-status-image-missing.svg, by all means use it. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia.

This includes, but is not limited to, removal of previously correct content without providing a source as to why or how it is no longer correct. That you have discovered it is incorrect is by itself original reserch which is not allowed in any circumstances. 86.164.128.239 (talk) 16:58, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Comparison of European road signs. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:12, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
