Oh, okay. I see where the confusion is. The 'focus (lead, coordinate, etc.) portion can't be copyright Aero-Defense, since it is in the 2000.19E DoD Directive verbatim. I've altered the phrasing and added a reference to 2000.19E, where JIEDDO's mission was explicitly stated as such. Apologies for the rancor.
Recreation of article

I was given no solid reason for or warning of deletion. I just logged on to see that the entry for a very relevant organization (see: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/world/specials/leftofboom/index.html) was nuked. I understand completely that public editing is what makes Wikipedia so great, but there was no editing here - the entry was obliterated without a viable explanation or fix.
