If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Deutsche Börse Cloud Exchange AG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 10:12, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

the 'Dbcloudexchange' username that has been used here refers to our marketing department, that manages this article. If necessary we can also change the username to a single person from this department. In addition to that we want to add more important and relevant information to our article. In order to do that please unblock our username.Dbcloudexchange (talk) 14:34, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It is necessary to change. Your current name may be OK on the German Wikipedia, but they have different rules on names. A name like 'Hans at Dbcloudexchange' would be OK, but 'Marketing at Dbcloudexchange' wouldn't. The name must show it's a person not a company or a position. Otherwise, any sort of name would do. You do not have to have a connection to the subject. Something like 'Cuthbert the Badger' or 'St Ethelfroth' would do quite well. Please be aware that your marketing department does not 'manage' the article. It does not belong to your company like a Facebook page does. Anyone (who isn't blocked...) can edit the article, and if they add well referenced material that the company does not like, it stays. You cannot control the article to suit your marketing. A lot of people and companies find this out the hard way. Peridon (talk) 15:14, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please note as well that anyone editing here as part of their work for the company or as an outside paid contractor must declare this under WP:TOS. I would think that this applies on the German Wikipedia too. Peridon (talk) 15:22, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked

[edit]

You have been unblocked following your name change. I can't give you this in a nice green box because you'd have to post another request to get that. Not really worth it. Do take note of the points I made above about control of the article. Peridon (talk) 16:23, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
