Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Just a few tips. Generally, Wikipedia articles do not contain links to any external websites except as inline citations. any external links should come under the heading external links at the bottom of the page. Also linking to blogs is generally not allowed as they are not reliable sources. MistyGraceWhite (talk) 17:48, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I am stuck trying to add some appropriate categories to the article 'letcombe Laboratory'. in particular i do not see where to insert Category..... to begin.

Hi, I added a few categories to your article. The easiest way to add a category is to type [[Category:Name of category goes here]] at the end of the article. It can be tricky finding the right categories if you are not familiar with how categories are named... for organizations there are usually categories like "[year] establishments/disestablishments in [location]"; I've added "1957 establishments in the United Kingdom" and "1985 disestablishments in the United Kingdom". I also added "Laboratories in the United Kingdom" and "Organizations based in Oxfordshire". If you're not sure which categories to add it's often helpful to look at the categories used on similar articles, e.g. other UK laboratories. Hope this helps, Spicy (talk) 00:02, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I see that you state you're the vice chairman of Annals of Botany on your user page, and you've been editing articles related to this company. Wikipedia has some guidelines on editing articles that you have a personal affiliation with, which are outlined at WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. In short, if you want to make changes to articles where you have a conflict of interest, it's best to request the edit on the talk page rather than editing the article directly, unless it's something very minor like fixing a typo or removing vandalism. Happy editing, Spicy (talk) 00:06, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
