[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Chris Crocker (internet celebrity) appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Chris Moyles, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Speedy deletion of Feeling Good Tonight
[edit]A tag has been placed on Feeling Good Tonight requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion of My Portraits Secret
[edit]A tag has been placed on My Portraits Secret requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Lady GaGa, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. — Realist2 22:35, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Alnwick Castle
[edit]I've removed the gallery and your image. There is already at the foot of the page a pointer to the Commons, which has about 15 Alnwick Castle images. That should do.
If you establish galleries in the future, can I suggest these should be at the foot of the article or foot of a section of the article. A gallery immediately below a heading (such as "Current Use") is certainly in the wrong place.
Finally, and without wishing to discourage you, the photo is not very good in any respect - framing, exposure, &c. Mark it down to this just not being your day, but please do carry on trying to improve wikipedia. --22:51, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Lady GaGa. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Proposed deletion of Plastic Start
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Plastic Start, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- There is no evidence that an album of this name is, or is going to be, recorded by an artist of this name.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. – The Parting Glass 19:32, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Gaga-cherrytree.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Gaga-cherrytree.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – The Parting Glass 20:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Gaga-cherrytree.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Gaga-cherrytree.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. – The Parting Glass 20:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Lilylive.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Lilylive.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Image permission problem with Image:La toya.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:La toya.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 16:06, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

- You use the word "Free image" all the time, but i think, you dont even know what it means. So in short: In generell everything is unfree. published on the internet? Unfree. Published in a newspaper, television, advertising: Unfree. Every photo enjoys copyrights. Something becomes free, if the photographer explicitely wishes, that his work becomes free. He have to do so in written form. Free means: Everyone can reuse the photographers creative work for every purpose inclduing unrestricted commercial use for no fees without future asking for permission. Provide those written permissions from the photographer and dont simply copy&paste images from the internet. Thanks. --Martin H. (talk) 08:12, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Lady GaGa and Kanye West 2009 Tour
[edit]Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of Lady GaGa and Kanye West 2009 Tour
[edit]The article Lady GaGa and Kanye West 2009 Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Wikipedia isn't a directory
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stifle (talk) 18:24, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Lgboston1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Lgboston1.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 18:42, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Changing main images of well-watched articles
[edit]Changing main images of well-watched articles such as Madonna (entertainer), Miley Cyrus, etc. is something that is better discussed on the talk pages of those articles first than readily acting on those changes. Flyer22 (talk) 20:47, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Floptina Aguilera
[edit]Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Orphaned non-free image File:Gaga-cherrytree.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Gaga-cherrytree.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:28, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello MichaelSkinsFan! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 243 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Jeffré Phillips - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Speedy deletion nomination of Emma Doolan
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Emma Doolan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Xtzou (Talk) 18:06, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Britney Spears 7th Studio Album
[edit]Hello,
I have moved the page to here:Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Britney Spears' Untitled 7th Studio Album. Please read WP:MUSIC,WP:HAMMER, and WP:CRYSTAL for reasons why. You may still edit the page and view it, but it is not in the article mainspace and can be moved back once notability is established. But besides that:

Thanks for Britney Spears' 7th Studio Album! |

The article Jeffré Phillips has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No independent notability outside of his association with La Toya Jackson. The record company he is assoicated with is also just a redirect to the La Toya Jackson article. I found no significant independent coverage to verify he meets even the most basic general notability criteria.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 17:09, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Red and Blue (Lady Gaga EP) listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Red and Blue (Lady Gaga EP). Since you had some involvement with the Red and Blue (Lady Gaga EP) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. -- Tavix (talk) 21:37, 28 June 2019 (UTC)
