Information icon Hello, I'm DavidBrooks. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Wander Franco, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! David Brooks (talk) 03:44, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Tobias Harris appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 13:16, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at DeMar DeRozan, you may be blocked from editing. —Bagumba (talk) 16:26, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Source

[edit]

What truly qualifies as a source? I’ve had a few of my edits removed because I failed to provide a good enough source and I’m confused on what would and would not qualify as a source. Michael6392!! (talk) 03:57, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Read up on reliable sources at WP:RELIABLE. Wrestling has its own list of what sites are reliable. That can be seen at WP:PW/RS. You also didn’t have your edits removed solely because you didn’t provide a source. At least one edit was removed because of how you noted your source in an edit summary which is not sufficient. How to properly cite sources is explained at WP:CITE. NJZombie (talk) 14:35, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A core policy of Wikipedia is verifiability. Generally, if you want to know about Wikipedia policies, you can try a page in the Wikipedia namespace, which will tell you. Most reasonable keywords are used to index the policy pages. So, in this case, Wikipedia:Verifiability (which can be shortened as WP:Verifiability) is the main page, and WP:Source gets you to the right section. Reverts

[edit]

I saw your question on Usernamekiran's talk page. If you are on the desktop editor, click "History" at the top of the page in question. Identify the change you want to revert, and click on the "diff" link. Above the resulting diff listing, there is an "undo" link. Clicking this pre-loads an editor page with the previous text and an appropriate edit summary, so you can just click Submit. The undo feature often works even when the edit you want to revert isn't the most recent one.

The mobile app is similar in concept. Get to History from the three-dot menu, select the change, and the "undo" tool is at the bottom. David Brooks (talk) 21:56, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Don’t know what just happened to be honest. Don’t know what I did to mess something up. That was a mistake.

How to add images to pages.

[edit]

I want to add images to Wikipedia pages (athletes in particular) who don’t have an image/attachment. I’m sure there are requirements (ex. Copyright laws, etc.) that I don’t know about. What are some of the rules to adding images/attachments? Michael6392!! (talk) 01:42, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
