Welcome!
[edit]Redirects
[edit]Hi there. Is there some reason you're attempting to turn the disambiguation page on Periyar into a redirect? This typically isn't done, per the Manual of Style. --Bfigura's puppy (talk) 21:06, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- It looks like Periyar (disambiguation) already exists, so there shouldn't be any problem with sending Periyar to the person's article, rather than the disambig (since his article already has a disambig section). Cheers, --Bfigura's puppy (talk) 21:14, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Your signature
[edit]Hi, Michael-Billa! It'd be good if you can add a link to your userpage/talk page (or both) in your signature. Sinebot does not recognize it as a signature because of the lack of these links, and leaves that {{unsigned}} comment. See WP:SIG for more info. Cheers. Chamal talk 13:28, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
WikiProject Sri Lanka Reconciliation
[edit]I noticed that you showed an interest in Sri Lanka related articles. Please take a look at WikiProject Sri Lanka Reconciliation, a bipartisan effort to improve collaboration on and coverage of the Sri Lankan Civil War. Among other things, we collected a number of recommendations for getting your point across while keeping out of trouble. We're here to help! In any event, we invite you to leave us a message on our talk page.
Happy editing! Taprobanus (talk) 04:35, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

IP block exempt
[edit]I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Daniel Case (talk) 14:28, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Deiva Thirumagal
[edit]How exactly are my changes on the Deiva Thirumagal page vandalism? [1]
- Are you aware of what the term "rehash" means? - The director has gone on record and publicly stated that only his lead character was taken from I am Sam, hence the current term "rehash" appears as a derogatory term to say the least. I reworded the clause to ensure the proper terms were used.
- Now that the film has released it is important to provide a summary of the reception the film received critically and commercially at the box office hence I highlighted the success it has enjoyed - but you reverted it to a version which praises the trailer. The appraisal of the teaser trailer could easily be placed in the 'Marketing' section under 'Production'.
- Amala Paul as Swetha Sargunam? where did you get that from, where did Sargunam come from?

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
