Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Uprising X, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Action (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Re:Uprising sources

Hey! Great to hear that you're undertaking this project. Uprising is an interesting subject that's been underrepresented on Wikipedia for a long time (the games were only split off into their own articles within the last year or so). I don't know how much my physical magazine collection holds anymore that isn't already scanned and online somewhere, but I can give it a look. In the meantime, here are a bunch of sources I dredged up from around the Internet:

Hopefully that's enough to help you get started. Besides checking my magazines, I might be able to find more online material tomorrow or the next day. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 08:26, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

A few more online sources. I'll try to get to my magazines tomorrow (they're somewhat disorganized right now).
More coming. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 02:33, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
Finally got to my magazines. There's a very short preview of Uprising X in Official PlayStation Magazine, but I don't seem to have the issue with the review. It was mostly likely covered in December 1998's issue, if that's any help. I was also able to locate a review for Uprising X from Electronic Gaming Monthly, but realized after the fact that the relevant issue (February 1999) is actually already available on Retromags. Their scan was better than mine, so I've just included it below:
  • Staff (June 1998). "Previews; Uprising". Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine. No. 9. p. 70.[1]
  • Smith, Shawn; Sushi-X; Hager, Dean; Hsu, Dan (February 1999). "Uprising X". Electronic Gaming Monthly. No. 115. p. 177.[2]
Beyond that, I might be able to track down a few more online sources over time. I'll drop them here if so. Best of luck with the articles. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 04:56, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
