user page

[edit]

The article you created at Gregg avedon is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable, but it may be a good start for your own userpage. I have moved it to User:Miamisaint, which is where you are encouraged to write about yourself. You are free to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.

The purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so you should not consider your user page to be a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing may be removed.

Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information.

Please read WP:AUTO. The recommendation is always: wait until someone else writes a biography about you. -- RHaworth 11:59, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio addition to Morari Bapu

[edit]

Please do not copy material from other websites and paste it into Wikipedia, as you did with the Morari Bapu article. Such edits constitute copyright infringement and are not permitted on Wikipedia. Copyright violation is a very serious concern here on Wikipedia, so please do not add such material again. (The material that you added had clearly been copied and pasted from http://www.yogausa.com/saints_morari_bapu.htm.) Thanks! --Hnsampat 21:42, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
