Edit Summary Request
[edit]I have noted that you edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 21:39, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Not to judge your character, but you should be sticking to editing Wikipedia articles and staying a while before filing AfD's. Your statement that it is not "notable" outside the "local area" is very well unfounded based upon the sources cited, and is irrelevant since there are many pages within Wikipedia that are specific to the article itself.
Should we be going and deleting Recreation in Huntington, West Virginia since it is local? Or what about all the notable people from Huntington that have entries? Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse and Keith Albee would also fit the bill, along with Buildings at the University of Kentucky, etc. You haven't defined a line and it is vague and insignificant at best. - It's just that it seems with all new articles that I have been writing, a user would slap up an AfD or a Speedy Delete template based on the fact that it is "incomplete" or "non notable". My frustrations are boiling over, in some sense, because of that, sorry if I just happened to lash out at you. It has been picked up by the AP and is known to many news outlets. I just hope that this hideous bridge doesn't open the door to other color spans, but it seems as if it has already led to that... In that case, I'll lump the other colored spans into Pink bridge Incident. Cheers and happy editing, Seicer (talk) (contribs) 16:28, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
