CRU article name

[edit]

Hello,

I am writing you this message because you have participated in the RfC regarding the name of the Climatic Research Unit hacking incident article. As the previous discussion didn't actually propose a name, it was unfocused and didn't result in any measurable consensus. I have opened a new discussion on the same page, between the existing name and the proposed name Climatic Research Unit documents controversy. I have asked that no alternate names are proposed at this time. Please make your opinion known here. Thanks, Oren0 (talk) 05:47, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Keepcalmandcarryon for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. -- TerryE (talk) 18:24, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Email me if you would like to discuss. There's a long back-story here, including a previous SPI, and your response to an AfD apparently raised the ire of this individual. I would just ignore it and stay away from these individuals if at all possible. Keepcalmandcarryon (talk) 21:21, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Original research which may cause schizophrenics to blame themselves

[edit]

Hi MiRroar,

I have tried to find a reference for innab's assertion that some schizophrenics are 'abusing' the reward circuitry. I remember reading that as HVA was unconvincing studies may have to look at the reward circuitry and I think if I can find that it might do the trick.

I included his section under CBT because that is what it is predominantly talking about with the original suggestion that some sz are abusing the circuitry.

Thanks for writing. The word abusing is not the best word to use, we agree on that. MiRroar (talk) 14:06, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A cup of coffee for you!

Years ago you wrote some biographies of medical researchers. I found one of these useful then I checked out the others and found them to be interesting. Thanks for writing those. Blue Rasberry (talk) 14:09, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
