Bob Chappuis
[edit]I deleted the material you added to the Chappuis article because it was unsourced. The information is interesting, and if you have a verifiable source, it can be re-inserted. Because the Chappuis article is currently undergoing a "good article" review, it cannot have unsourced material in it. If it is left in without source material, that would result in it failing the good article review. Cbl62 (talk) 00:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- I understand. It's a very well-written article. I added the verifiable sources per your request.Mhistory (talk) 07:39, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- I realized that there is a problem with the links to the footnotes. I believe that I've used Wikipedia's correct format. I can't get it to work right, can you? Mhistory (talk) 19:28, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- I fixed it.Cbl62 (talk) 19:39, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Cameron Waterman
[edit]You asked me, "I saw that you recently removed Cameron Waterman's name from the list of "Famous Downriver Detroit Residents or Natives"...What is the basis of your objection to including Waterman on the list...?" I don't believe Mr. Waterman is sufficiently notable. When I encountered the list, his name was a redlink, although he had been added to the list in June/06. I got only a few Google hits for him, and quite frankly his name is not well known, in fact I'm not convinced he meets the guidelines of Wikipedia:Notability (people). Now, that having been said, you are free to add his name and accomplishments back, but unless there's more material to establish Mr. Waterman's fame somebody else might one day take his name off the list again. Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Downriver, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page South Detroit (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
