Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. I'm using my work computer which, so far as I know, is never used by anyone else. Mark Hagerman (talk) 12:24, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. You forgot to tell us your IP address so we can't investigate your claim that it is no longer an open proxy. You can find your IP address using WhatIsMyIP. If you don't wish to provide this publicly, you may use WP:UTRS. Yamla (talk) 13:01, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I didn't know. My IP address is 104.129.196.65

That IP address belongs to zscaler and is indeed functioning as an open proxy. You'll need to disable your use of zscaler in order to edit. --Yamla (talk) 16:34, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. I suppose that's a consequence of logging in from work. Question: Is the block against my account, specifically, or against the IP address? If the latter, I'll try logging in from home and see if that handles the matter.

It's very definitely against the IP address range. Your account is not directly blocked and Wikipedia has, to the best of my knowledge, no problem with your edits. :) --Yamla (talk) 16:51, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
