Nightmare on Elm Street
[edit]From simple scanning I can tell you a few things wrong with it. First, any IMDb reference you have needs to be replaced. I removed the two trivia references outright, but left the statistics reference. That needs to be replaced with someone more reliable, like Box Office Mojo. Here is its Box Office Mojo page. Since the movie came out in 1984, and we're now in 2008, it would be good to show what the inflation is for the budget and for the box office take. I used Tom's Inflation Calculator for the Friday the 13th (franchise) article. Also, the critical review section could be beefed up. Here is the RottenTomatoes page, where you can find 30 reviews. Don't use them all, just pick an even number of positive and negatives reviews. I would look at Batman Begins#Critical reception or Fight Club (film)#Critical reaction for guidance on how to write some good, balanced critical review sections. From there, the article needs a thorough copyedit. There is problems with punctuation, general sentence structures and other smaller things. It isn't that it's bad, but that even on Wikipedia articles need to look pretty. As for the two things with the fact tags, I'd just remove them outright until a source can be found. Neither is extremely important to the sections as a whole (i.e. you aren't going to lose anything if they are gone). Now, I'll try and help out when I can. I've got a lot of projects on here already, plus I go to college/work full time, so my time is pretty limited. I'm on Wikipedia everyday, at some point, at least checking messages so I'll respond if you have any questions. To me, fixing the sources and copyediting are the two biggest things, because the article is pretty close to GA status..in my opinion. That doesn't mean anything since I've worked on the article, so I can't actually pass it myself. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 05:36, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
