Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Driving Van Trailer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hull. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:43, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Opentraintimes is not a reliable source in any way, shape or form. It does not even say the train is a 707. You might want to read WP:RS and WP:RSP, and if you have any questions about sources you can ask at WP:RSN. SK2242 (talk) 15:29, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not make mass changes to articles without consensus. Bombardier still exists. SK2242 (talk) 11:56, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bombardier only exists now as an airline manufacturer as of 29th January 2021 Metalhead11000 (talk) 17:54, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Class 317 image

[edit]

Hi, I changed the image because the one you favour is poorly cropped (the cab is at the very edge of the image frame) and has an obstruction (the buffer's stop lamp) in the foreground. The fact that you deem it "fine" doesn't preclude another one being better. Please take it to the article's talk page if you wish to dispute this. XAM2175 (T) 17:08, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Use of citation templates

[edit]

Hi @Metalhead11000, thank you for your edit to British Rail Class 707. I noted that you used a bare link as a reference - this is generally undesirable on Wikipedia, as such references are subject to link rot, and do not have any formatting. Citation templates such as Template:Cite Web exist for this reason, and I’d encourage you to have a look at them. Once again, thanks for your edits. Danners430 (talk) 18:03, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No problem :) haven't edited in a while Metalhead11000 (talk) 22:46, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Metalhead11000 I noted your edit to British Rail Class 325 where once again you've simply provided a bare URL. Please use full citations wherever possible. Danners430 (talk) 10:54, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Class 465 interior saloon image

[edit]

Hi, just wondering how the current image is of "higher quality" when it's horrendously cropped imo, still features COVID stickers and shows a small portion of the actual interior. I would say the previous image was better for users as it showed the actual interior much better rather than the current image. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:465_Interior_2023.jpg

Thank you! Vanmanyo (talk) 17:08, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

picture looks way too dark for what it is ideally try and take a pic of it at cannon street or somewhere where it's better lit
I'd also like to mention the current picture shows the interior well as more of the carriage Metalhead11000 (talk) 14:00, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
