Another Article deletionHi Merope. You just deleted the Fighters Formula page, since you found it too advertising. I would still like to add a page and I was wondering if you have any specific guidelines one should follow for company descriptions. Regards, Jorgen64
Admin CoachingHi, Merope. Just letting you know, at this point in time I would like to call off admin coaching, as I believe I am ready to submit an RFA, and have been offered a nomination by another user. Otherwise, thankyou for accepting to be my coach, and whether my nomination succeeds or not, I hope I can call on you with any questions I may have! I apoligise for not doing this correctly, as I thought by making it a user-page it would disclude it from being deleted because of deletion policies... How would I go about posting the article as a user-page, as I want it to just be called 'Ren Wu' not 'User:Ren Wu', and he cannot create an account called 'Ren Wu' because it is similar to another account already created called 'Renwu'. Please post a reply in my talk page when you have a spare moment. Thanks, Klown hitman 03:29, 9 May 2007 (UTC) Foča rape campsYou seem to have missed my request re the expanded "Foča Camp" article Hello Merope. Perhaps you remember the fuss about the Foca Camp "stub" article which you moved to User:HanzoHattori/Foča camp. I think there's enough material there now for it to return to being a proper article. Can you sort that out? I also think it should be given the more explicit title "Foča rape camps" (plural). Thanks for your help/comments. --Opbeith 13:21, 23 April 2007 (UTC) Don't worry if you've been busy but there wasn't any indication that you'd seen my request. --Opbeith 11:06, 16 May 2007 (UTC) Merope, sorry the "Revolution Tea" entry was too "Spammy". I will do my best to create a purely information page regarding this company, and I will re-read the wiki policy regarding listing companies. Should I post this to the sandbox for moderator review instead of trying to post it live? I am only looking for a little guidance and do not want to violate any more rules or waste moderator's times.
Robyn DawkinsThe fact that the subject of the article was switched at birth is clearly notable enough. That and the references made it notable. Again, I find your actions improper, particularly since you deleted it without giving me an opportunity to post a hold-on notice. --Bookworm857158367 18:20, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Robyn Dawkins. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. --Bookworm857158367 18:37, 23 May 2007 (UTC) An editor has asked for a deletion review of Gavin Clinton-Parker. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. --Bookworm857158367 18:37, 23 May 2007 (UTC) Hi Merope. The page is pure information on Fighters Formula, their products and the ingredients of their products. What should I delete/add in order to meet wiki's requirements? Adler Publishing deletionI was wondering why the Adler Publishing entry added 5/23 was deleted as being blatant advertising. There are numerous entries on independent publishers and i specifically followed the format of similar entries already on Wikipedia. Can you tell me how I can edit the entry so it can remain? Books9876 20:11, 23 May 2007 (UTC) 100+ Club DeletionHi, You deleted the 100+ Club page I made and I was wondering why? I thought it met with all the criteria needed for an entry. It was featured in a news article a while ago and I have been studying it for an assignment. Ok, Im copying and pasting some of my arguement from a NEW speedy deletion article <roll eyes> The 100+ Club is the only known social club in the world that is exclusively open to people over the age of 100 and both this club and QCCN have been in local Australian media many times in the past few years, the article that I wrote on them is not advertising for them. Nothing is being sold and no donations or volunteers are being sought, therefore PLEASE tell me why you think this is spam and what I can do to make it less spam<ish> for you. Djkizza SeaMiles DeletionHi Merope, You deleted the SeaMiles article I wrote. I followed, as best as I could, all of the rules about Neutral Point of View. Since SeaMiles is a loyalty program, I modeled the article somewhat after the format of articles about other loyalty programs such as Aeroplan and Air Miles. There are several pages that could be updated with information about SeaMiles, once the article exists, such as Loyalty program, Category:Companies_listed_on_the_TSX_Venture_Exchange, Category:Customer_loyalty_programs, etc, etc. I thought you may have deleted the article because I created an external link in the original article, but the Aeroplan and Air Miles articles both had external links, so it seemed okay to use that format. When I tried to repost without the external link, that is when I was warned not to repost a deleted article. Please help me understand what I need to change to repost this article. Thanks, --Bandit2001 13:50, 24 May 2007 (UTC) Please restore the best (likely the latest) version of this article that has been speedy deleted several times. We have been discussing the deletion at WikiProject Contemporary Christian Music Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Contemporary_Christian_music#This_Beautiful_Republic_and_Hypserstatic_Union, and I am one of several members of the WikiProject that will create an article that will meet notability standards. Part of me thinks that the band has charted. You can restore it here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Contemporary Christian music/This Beautiful Republic. If you need to restore it to userspace, then please create a second sandbox for me at User:Royalbroil/Sandbox2. Thanks! Royalbroil 20:11, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Article DeletionHi, Merope,
Therefore will you please restore them for me, since I dont now why they were deleted in the first place and you help me write the first one yourself and gave me the do's and dont's They were: Dynamic Software and Dyanamic Submission I came in today to list all the other software items and both are gone!~ I thougth I did this exactly correct. Please Advise me. Thanks! Al akc9000 talk 5/25/07 10:00pm est DRVHi merope, I only just saw your comment on the DRV where you said you would be happy to have the articles go to afd. I suggest you close the deletion review as overturning your own decision and send them to afd. I personally believe they are on shaky grounds, but afd gives - among other things, a chance to discuss their fate and whether they should be merged into the article on the broad subject. Similarly, the BLP concerns can also be aired there (though I'm not sure if you have read WP:BLP closely, but IMO there is nothing under that policy that says they should be deleted. Closing the DRV and opening an afd would in my opinion, rectify your admitted mistake (we all make them - so no hard feelings of course) and stop DRV being treated as an impromptu afd - a use for which it is not designed and not suited, as several people have pointed out. ViridaeTalk 00:29, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
SorryDoc glasgow overturning the closure may be responsible for your stress level :( Sorry about that. I would suggest not getting involved, it is a huge mess that is burning out of control. ViridaeTalk 01:58, 27 May 2007 (UTC) Hey...
SunshineWikipedia is no big deal. Take some time off. Turn the computer off. Go outside, take a walk, sniff a flower, talk to a pigeon. "Hi, filthy rat with wings!" There'll still be dumbass vandals waiting for you when you feel like dealing with them. If only we could find a way to use dumbass vandalism to fuel our cars, we'd solve the oil problem immediately. -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:23, 27 May 2007 (UTC) Just bought some insanely good imported french Brie @ a cost of $55 a kg (yes I'm 22 years old and buying imported french cheese - what of it :P). You can have some on a biscuit if it would cheer you up :) ViridaeTalk 12:44, 27 May 2007 (UTC) |
