It seems like you have a lot of information and a pretty good idea of how you want to organize it. The bullet points need to become sentences and paragraphs, but I'm assuming this is just an outline. You do seem to get a lot of your facts from the same sources, but they also seem to be pretty reliable. You also seem to have a pretty solidified plan for what you want to do next.Jegude (talk) 21:09, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the informative feedback! I have made my bullet points into paragraphs and will look to even out my sources Merchantofvenice9 (talk) 04:01, 23 October 2016 (UTC)merchantofvenice9
Great Start! After looking at the original wiki page for this article, it looks like you will be touching on a lot of interesting points that this page is currently lacking. I think you will have the most difficulty narrowing all of this down to an inclusive and brief lead in. It might be helpful to decide on your subheadings to help guide your direction somewhat. Its great that you seemed to narrow the topic down somewhat to energy and metabolism ect, but you could consider narrowing it down even more, perhaps if there was more research on the effects of leptin and weight gain associated with the arcuate nucleus. This way you would be able to focus on just one hormone, only briefly mentioning the other ones I saw.
I also looked briefly at some of the resources that you are citing and they look reliable and very comprehensive. I am interested to see what images you might think to include for enhancing your article, such as pathway schematics or general anatomy images. Don’t forget that you will have a lot of good opportunities to link to other wikipedia articles within yours so you can minimize explaining some things. (ie specific neurotransmitters or other brain regions). Skd17 (talk) 02:27, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
This is really helpful Skd17! Thank you for the great feedback and suggestions. :) Merchantofvenice9 (talk) 04:01, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Merchantofvenice9
Your article is looking great! The only comment I have right now is to move the abbreviations that people use for the arcuate nucleus into the intro paragraph for easier referencing as you read throughout. When you add this all to the mainspace, a 'contents' box at the top would be great too. ProfJRL (talk) 17:01, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
