Heather young (model)
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Heather young (model), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Heather young (model). AfD nomination of Heather Young (model)
[edit]An article that you have been involved in editing, Heather Young (model), has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Heather Young (model). Thank you. Accounting4Taste:talk 03:28, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- I apologize if I seemed to short-cut the process in any way; I've entered this article into an Articles for Deletion process, where it will be considered by a number of Wikipedia editors. Because of my previous actions, I have deliberately not taken a position in the process and will leave it to the decision of impartial editors. If you have any questions, you can leave a note on my talk page; you are welcome to add comments and information to the Articles for Deletion process and I encourage you to do so. Notability of Heather Young (model)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Heather Young (model) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Accounting4Taste:talk 02:58, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Using the preview button
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edit(s) to Yaya DaCosta, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. Eatcacti 22:26, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Hello: A little about editing Wikipedia
[edit]Hello, Merabelle. I know that I'm a little late in saying this, but welcome to Wikipedia. I've noticed that some of your edits, since you signed up here, don't comply with Wikipedia policy.
There are some important things about editing articles on Wikipedia (on real subjects or fictional subjects) that you should know. To start with... When creating a heading within an article on Wikipedia, make sure that the part of the heading after the first word is not capitalized, unless it is an official name of something in which is capitalized...like New York City. Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (capital letters)#Section headings, you should only capitalize the first letter of the first word and any proper nouns in headings, but leave the rest lower case. For example: Television and film, not Television And Film or Television and Film...Personal life, not Personal Life.
Also, italics should be applied to the names of magazines, books, television shows and film. I've noticed that you've been removing those. I'm informing you that removal of them is not correct. It should be CoverGirl, not CoverGirl. If you ever have any questions about Wikipedia, don't hesitate to ask me. I'll see you around. Flyer22 23:26, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Charlize Theron, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 01:33, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. --Yamla (talk) 17:14, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, the recent edit you made to Hayden Panettiere has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Will (talk) 01:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
The recent edit you made to Milo Ventimiglia constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. Will (talk) 01:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC))
Please do not add scrollbars to the References section as you did here. They are discouraged per Wikipedia:CITE#Scrolling lists. Thanks, D.M.N. (talk) 17:02, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Wikilinks
[edit]Adding the brackets around a word does not always take the reader where you want him/her to go. You wikilinked Interpersonal on Aliana Lohan. If you take a second to click it, you'll notice that it goes to a page that has nothing to do with the album. It's always a good idea to check a link before you create it, and if not, by all means after you create it. Thanks. Ward3001 (talk) 17:45, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- You continue to mindlessly create wikilinks that go to incorrect pages. Do you know how to check to see where a link takes you before you save it? Do you know how to correct an incorrect wikilink after you create it? Please read Help:Links, and please stop creating so many problem links that the rest of us have to clean up. Proposed deletion of Foreign Exchange (film)
[edit]The article Foreign Exchange (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no assertion of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ironholds (talk) 00:00, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Nomination of Brandi Alexander (actress) for deletion

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
