Orphaned fair use image (Image:Photoshop CS3 screenshot.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Photoshop CS3 screenshot.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Non-free use disputed for Image:Against the light album art.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Against the light album art.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.

Fair use rationale for Image:Stephanie sun large.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Stephanie sun large.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. The world is full of official events that have not happened yet. Placing them as current fact in an encyclopedia is irresponsible. Instead of putting it in as fact, perhaps add a note in the body that says "Version x.x.x will be released on dd mmm yyyy." sinneed (talk) 15:00, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Your revert of SMF.png
I changed it to the default version of 1.1.10 since 1.1.10 is (currently) the stable version, and you reverted it back to the Curve theme. Usually the screenshot of the stable version of software is used in infoboxes. TheWeakWilled (T * G) 01:48, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
The article EsoTalk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable software
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Zvn (talk) 09:43, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of EsoTalk
I have nominated EsoTalk, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/EsoTalk. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. --Zvn (talk) 18:36, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
SMF.png
Hi there Meow.
You should know that SMF 2.0 RC2, is NOT a stable version. Therefore, the image should show a screenshot of the most stable version of SMF 1.1.11, or just the way it was before.

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is FluxBB. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/FluxBB. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Please do not say that the JMA have issued their final advisory on typhoon Megi when the JMA downgrades to a tropical storm to a tropical depression, as they haven't, all they have done is downgraded it to a tropical depression and will still be issuing advisories under the WMO code WWJP25. WMS Tropical Cyclone Imagery
Everything can be easily obtained from WMS. On the bottom left corner, there is a button saying Download. Click on the button, push Shift key, and then with the mouse, highlight the area that you want to download. Then, a screen pops up showing the details of the image, hit OK and then another screen pops up. Choose Select to Download Image at Native Resolution, then choose JPG and hit Submit. The image appears in a new tab/new window. (Note:Images may take time to load). Finally, you have your image ready. 2011 Pacific Typhoon Season
Good day! I saw your edits in 2011 Pacific typhoon season. There must be a misunderstanding of what day Tropical depression dissipated. Based on the weather maps of Japan Meteorological Agency, the one that operates the Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre for the Northwestern Pacific and issues advisories on tropical cyclones in the area, they cancel their warnings on the tropical depression at 18:00 UTC of December 31st, FYI. Sanvu
Why isn't it annular?Earth100 (talk) 04:38, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- Sanvu never had a complete eyewall, and the structure is not annular. Also, the rain-band still exists. As the eye is never complete, there is actually no eyewall replacement circle. -- Meow 04:42, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
okay, so you mean when the storm is so round and annular looking, with conditions even favorable for a annular, isn't? Earth100 (talk) 04:50, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- Not that simple. If some system is an annular typhoon, its eye should be solid and large, and the strength should be at the typhoon status. In addition, annular typhoons often form when conditions are not that favourable. Sanvu has some characteristics of an annular typhoon, but it is not one because of its weak eye, the STS strength and interaction with the Westerlies. -- Meow 08:06, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Besides, look what on earth you've done!
Here
I thought you will be a super grammar expert, but i told you to leave text, links, alone and only to fix grammars!
And what did i did in your YouTube videos??!!-i liked it when other disliked them! And you give me in return nothing!
And what on earth are you doing, for kicking off my image?!
Can't you see it is better? Can you please change the photo you uploaded to a taller one??? And did you know, that after all this time, every weird things that most women would not say, you haven't even made me horny! Yep, i am a low testosterone man. For once, and as a gentlemen, i will leave your image alone. sign: ✯Earth100✯◕‿◕TalkContribs 05:24, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- I only fixed punctuations including many _. Don’t you know links in Wikipedia do not need _ at all? You just wasted bytes. Surely, your image is taller, but it does not mean that yours is better. The centre of Talim is not right on the centre of your image, and your image contains too many unnecessary parts. Besides, I already uploaded many pictures of tropical cyclones which are taller, as they really need that. Please see Sanvu, Roke, Talas, etc.. You should also know you have replaced images more times than me. If you believe that taller is always better, why not upload a 6000*12000 one? A gentleman should not be so impolite and illogical. -- Meow 06:49, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
I you sure? When there is an article, you should link to it! Too many unnecessary parts?! Why? it's just perfect! it shows the whole storm's convection! But yours dosen't! Replaced images more times than you? why, i've been on wiki less than a year! Madam, i advise you to upload images showing the whole storm, not the center! yep, you're right about my image, but why can't you do something??...fainted~.................... -- ✯Earth100✯◕‿◕TalkContribs 09:29, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- You still do not understand what I said. If you want to link to an article like New Taipei, you just need to use New Taipei instead of New_Taipei|New Taipei. Could you understand me now? Are you sure that your image really shows the whole storm? According to the JMA, yours misses the east part of Talim. By many reasons, your image is not proper at all. You have uploaded many good images, so please do not argue with me on that one imperfect image anymore. I have spent much time on explaining to you, please do not make me inpatient. Thank you. -- Meow 10:39, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

2012 Pacific typhoon season
woe! woe! woe!looks like your now the 'moderator' of 2012 Pacific typhoon season. your always the one that we follow. that is very unethical and discriminate to me and to our fellow editors. sorry for the term but it is really a disgrace and we always sees it. please read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Tropical_cyclones/Style#Impact and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Tropical_cyclones/Style to understand how to edit tropical cyclone information. you don't want to get back last time when we have confrontations right? (Jpuligan 12 (talk) 03:57, 14 July 2012 (UTC))
- I see what you meant, but it seems that you do not really understand the styles at all. Why should there be so much information of minimal damage of a low-pressure area? Why should there be so much information for the Phillippines but no information for Taiwan in other sections? Yes, you are a Phillippino, but it does not mean this article is 2012 Phillippino typhoon season. I will no longer edit much to this tropical depression, but I will be tougher and tougher on the next storms. -- Meow 04:37, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
- First, there is no relation between you as a chinese and I'm a filipino. I'm just correcting the possible wrongdoings that was made by of course, yourself. Your like a boss in the page. First of all, it is reasonable to indicate the damage of this low pressure because it was classified as a tropical depression few days ago before it was downgraded to an area of low pressure. And actually use your common sense that there is no such other countries indicated in the low pressure because they was not hit by this low pressure. Well if your country was hit by a tropical depression that downgraded to a low pressure or whatever, you can write the damages in your country because it is a part of the 'impact' section of a cyclone which every cyclone has a section like that. Jpuligan 12 (talk) 15:57, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
- Everyone is a boss in Wikipedia, please. If you want to keep the section, please simplify it. The reason why I do not admire what you write is that you really include many unnecessary parts. -- Meow 17:34, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

- Hey! I delete your meteorological history because your NOT citing references. I admit I put the wrong reference but I have the copy now of its original source. I will revert your edit as much as possible. your putting meteorological history without any references. so how we will trust your edits? Do you think you're helping Wikipedia to be more reliable source? well its not because of lack of references. please edit and add references for proof that the article is true. Read the view history of the page. One editor is mad because of not citing references. I'm not blaming anyone but please before you edit put your references just to be able your edits will be accepted. Read Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones and learn.
