Speedy deletion nomination of Caucasian Heritage Month
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Caucasian Heritage Month requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CrowCaw 21:39, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

Why doesn't my opinion count? Why does your opinion override my opinion? I'm very serious in my attempt to include everyone in these commemorative months. Don't abuse your power as a super wiki admin, there are other opinions in the world. Mendeservesomelove (talk) 21:50, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Wikipedia isn't for stuff that you made up. PhilKnight (talk) 22:09, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

- I don't know if I'm a super wiki admin, but I'll take the compliment. First, it's not a matter of anyone's opinion. Obviously you made that shit up; these things aren't notable. They don't pass the WP:GNG, the criteria for notability, because they don't exist. They also don't pass the smell test, these things that advocate straight whiteness in fairly distasteful manner, which makes me think you're only here for a kind of activism usually reserved for Facebook comments. Happy days, Drmies (talk) 22:04, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

Request reason:
Someone made up LGBT History Month until it stuck. Someone has to make up everything. Clearly Wikipedia is biased against white straight males. If the comment back would have been make it more professional, or needs more detail, or something constructive, as the resolve disputes page says, talk to the disagreeing party, I would be happy to discuss. But someone just pushes their opinion over the top of mine, because clearly theirs is more correct than mine. Mendeservesomelove (talk) 22:12, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
Decline reason:
The point is, they didn't make it up here. You are missing the point. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place for activism. Yamla (talk) 22:16, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
