The problem with the picture you've been uploading is that we can't accept images that we are only allowed to use "by permission." Ideally, we need to have a free license for it: either the GFDL license, public domain, or a Creative commons license that doesn't prohibit derivative works or commercial use. If a free license isn't possible, and it's not feasible to create a free alternative to the image, we can use copyrighted images under a fair use claim. Images that are only "by permission" without a fair use claim get deleted quickly, which is what's been happening.
