Response to Peer Review

[edit]

Hi Emma,

Thank you very much for your feedback and advice! I wanted to let you know that I added separate sections like you suggested. I think this has dramatically improved the quality of the article. I also added more content to many of the sections in the form of illustrative examples. I actually removed the “Problem Areas In Archaeological Ethics” entirely because it seemed to me to just be an outline of the above information. As you mentioned in your review, words like “Problem Areas” and “unfortunately” suggest a viewpoint that is less than neutral. I continued to keep an eye out for phrasing like this per your suggestion. Also in response to your review, I converted some of the external links to references and incorporated your suggested caption for the Elgin Marbles photo. Again, thank you for your suggestions as many of them were very necessary and a huge help.

Kind Regards,

Rosemary
