Hamza Kashgari

[edit]

I reverted your recent edit of the lead - please don't take offence! The previous, apparently clumsy wording was meant to avoid claiming either that Kashgari was or wasn't deported prior to the injunction, while not making this a big issue that would dominate the introductory paragraph. Feel free to make the wording smoother now that the semantics (but probably not style) are (hopefully) clearer. Boud (talk) 21:33, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

October 2013

[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to EADS CASA C-295 may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • item doesn't apply, like capacity, leave it blank. For additional lines, end your alt units with )
and start a new, fully-formatted line with
-->
 • |range alt=with 6,000 kg (13,200 lb) payload, 3,700 km (2,000 nmi / 2,300 mi));

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 00:51, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trout Lake Airport (Northwest Territories)

[edit]

Do you know what is going on with Trout Lake Airport (Northwest Territories)? I updated here based on the current Canada Flight Supplement and noticed you changed it. I double checked the CFS and then the NOTAMs and saw that the NOTAM had reverted back to the original coordinates, height and runway. I'm wondering if they assumed the new airport would be ready and included it in the CFS but it ended up being delayed. Glad you caught it though. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 07:25, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, my bad.
No I don't have a clue what is/was going on with Trout Lake Airport (Northwest Territories). I was going through the NWT list of airports making Google Earth links for airport references for my hobby (flight sim) and noticed the coord references for Trout Lake were off from what appeared to be the airstrip (based upon Google Earth satellite imagery.) While acknowledging GE satellite imagery is dated (months/years), I was unaware of the intention to move the Trout Lake airstrip which now seems obvious as the current satellite imagery clearly shows the new location (your coords) under preparatory work—forest cut block being cleared and runway base being prepared (though at the current resolution of the imagery it's hard to tell how much has been completed.)
It was a bit OCD of me to make the coord change without first checking the CFS. Again my apologies if my edit caused an issue.
No problem. It was good because if you hadn't I would have never checked the NOTAMS and seen that the new airport had been removed. There are several Canadian airports where the coordinates are off, mainly water ones that are inland. It tends to happen where the coordinates are in degrees and minutes only. Thanks for making the edit. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 07:31, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

BSicon files moved to Commons

[edit]

Hi, I have moved a great deal of your bridge BSicons over to Commons for interwiki usage (see here). Please take note that new BSicons should be directly uploaded over to Commons. If you need to make manual transfers, do consult Wikipedia:Moving_files_to_the_Commons#How_to_transfer_files_to_Commons.

Thanks. Have a nice day ;) NoNews! 02:35, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vladimir Valenta moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Vladimir Valenta, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Canadians (TV series), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Birdman, Gabriel Dumont and Donald Morrison. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
