A tag has been placed on Draft:Nancy Lyons, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I would appreciate help in getting my article published. Also, I had the copyright information for the photo that I submitted but it disappeared before I was able to enter that information. I submitted a question to the new writers area and hopefully I will receive some help there. I paid a consultant $1200 to help me publish 3 wikipedia pages and was left without the pages and without my money. At the time, I didn't realize that these types of businesses are scams. I just want to publish a page on Nancy Lyons. If pages for her two companies, Clockwork and Tempo, are too promotional, that's fine. But Nancy is a notable person and a valuable leader and I'd like to be able to document her information in wikipedia. Melanie Shirley (talk) 14:39, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you still have the emails from the scammers, please see WP:PAID for how you can report these to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 15:00, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I'll keep working on Nancy's article and I'll check the help desk too. Appreciate it! Melanie Shirley (talk) 14:39, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
