Signature

[edit]

Hi there. Would you please mind using the signature feature (up at the left between Bold and Italics on the left and a chain (link) sign on the right), when you participate in discussions. Thanks. --Why should I have a User Name? (talk) 15:03, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fan

[edit]

Wikiedia isnt a fan site, and I would think an actor from a UK show would have fans through-out the UK, not London centric, also the amount of accounts that were only interested in this article and deletion discussion, makes interesting reading. Hoe to see you around more often. Murry1975 (talk) 20:30, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'm aware it's not a fan site, but fans are often experts and have interest in seeing that Wiki is accurate regarding things they care about. Social media allows fans with similar interests to connect & several fans of this actress contacted each other to try to improve her Wiki to try to save the page. I'm sure it will be back. Thanks for the response. Mel7190 (talk) 22:25, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:MEAT, also see WP:SOCK (which is about using more than one account/IP). These people, however good their intention are guilty of bias, as shown by several of the comments on deletion page, which is natural for fans. A group of fans acting in conjunction with each isnt what is done on here. As you have found yourself, reliable sources , citations and significance play a larger part. FWIW I do beleive at some stage in the years to come that Kearney will have an article about her. Murry1975 (talk) 23:59, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
