Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Braydanheart, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! creffett (talk) 18:33, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Greetings, Im afraid this method of chatting using such an interface is all new to me, excuse me if i'm doing something wrong im not really familiar with coding etc, so in regards to my page having conflict of interest, what can I do to resolve this? Braydanheart (talk) 18:56, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Since your username is also the name of your subject, it is a natural conclusion that you may have a conflict of interest. Please read the policy by clicking the link to see why this is a concern. Disclosing can be as simple as writing a statement in your own words on your user page User:Braydanheart (which does not yet exist) that simply says what your relationship is with the show.
- What you've written in your sandbox is a draft that is so over-the-top promotional that it would probably have to be deleted and started over again in order to be made into an encyclopedia article. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 19:28, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Very much understood thanks. In regards to writing a statement in my user page, Im guessing I would have to create this page in the same manner as I did for the Show? basically creating a persons Wiki page detailing what I do etc or its just a simple bio? Secondly I can see why you would say its over the top promotional, but with all the referencing I put from local newspapers is that still a problem?
— Preceding unsigned comment added by 19:41, 17 March 2020 Braydanheart (talk • contribs)
- Nothing so elaborate. Your user page does not have to have anything on it beyond your disclosure statement. It should not turn into a bio, a resume, or something that could be mistaken for an article.
- There are a lot of things that have to be right about a Wikipedia article, but three of the most important are: 1) not promotional, 2) meets our notability requirements, as 3) demonstrated through independent, reliable, published sources. Coverage that is not independent, for instance, based too much on interviews with you, cannot contribute towards notability. Local newspaper coverage is usually not considered sufficient, but I don't know enough about the Chronicle to say whether it has broad enough coverage to escape that. Pieces that are clearly publicity squibs rather than serious reviews and reporting will also be discounted. It's a tough business. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 19:51, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Also, if you're not Braydan Heart (as indicated on your userpage) but want to create a Wikipedia page about him, I suggest requesting a change in username to avoid any potential confusion. creffett (talk) 20:07, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
@creffett sorted! ````
Im afraid the articles from the Chronicle are more serious reviews than the rest because it is the 2nd biggest state national paper in my country, while the NewsDay and Standard are more independent papers. And mind me asking in order to get the article to materialize into existence what would be my best bet? I saw somewhere that mentioned editors proof reading it? ```` I have also taken the liberty to disclose my affiliation with the project in my userpage. ````
- Thanks. The disclosure on your user page is probably sufficient. But it makes it even clearer that you need to request a new username: see WP:CHUS
- It doesn't look like you've found the correct character to sign your posts with. On my keyboard the tilde key is shifted, the "upper case" version of the backtick character you've been using. The editor also provides a signature button which you can use instead.
- You can ask that your sandbox be reviewed as a candidate for inclusion in the encyclopedia by clicking on the large blue button that says "Submit your draft for review". Right now, that review is likely to be a decline, for the reasons discussed above. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 16:31, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Being Braydan, from its old location at User:MehliseliDan/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Sulfurboy (talk) 02:02, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Please help me with my being braydan draft. I seem to miss the part were its making it sound like an Ad as said by the reviewer. If i can maybe get the exact phrases that seem to be the problem. MehliseliDan (talk) 20:54, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
- At a glance the "Production" and "Reception" sections are the worst offenders. The latter, in particular, is chock-full of puffery that is not supported by the cited sources. Huon (talk) 21:28, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
