Re: General Roman Calender of 1960
[edit]I AGREE!!! He (Veverve) has destroyed the General Roman Calendar of 1960 ... I tried to talk in the "Teahouse" BUT we were RUDE and NOT HELPFUL! Bob Tarver (talk) 21:10, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- A couple of editors have stepped up and defended the General Roman Calendar and the General Roman Calendar of 1960 pages and restored them for now, but not without some resistance. I was just linking to the older versions of those pages for the last week or so, but if the reversions stick, I will be able to link back to the current versions. Thank you to everyone who has spoken up on this to create a "consensus" that was favorable to retrieving the lost material that we rely on, and especially to the experienced editors who made it happen. [edit]Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Veverve#Page Needs Restoration. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 13:35, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Veverve#Retired. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Veverve (talk) 13:36, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- "Please do not attack and threaten other editors", as you, yourself, are doing here with this comment. Trying to put out an apartment fire is a waste of time when the arsonist who who started it keeps lighting new ones on various floors. Sometimes the only thing left to do is to point out the arsonist and hope someone who is faster and stronger can catch and stop him. This is not an attack on the perpetrator, it is a desperate attempt to save the building. It is your behavior that I am against, sir, not you personally. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Control your incivility. DatGuyTalkContribs 16:21, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- "Control your incivility" is a rather uncivil command. Someone might tell on you and get you in trouble. Suggested replacement phrase: "Please be more passive and submissive in your comments so as not to offend extremely sensitive people." Megalonzerg (talk) 15:30, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
